The Fade module applies fadings (linear, log, exp, or S-curve) to layers. Depending on the part of the layer you selected it can automatically detect if a fade-in or fade-out will be applied, or you can force it in the type parameter.
It’s also able to automatically cross-fade between 2 layers if you select 2 layers in the Layers Panel and select a transition area overlapping those 2 layers.
- Type: Auto will automatically determine if you want a fade-in, fade-out, or a crossfade based on the number of selected layers, and amount of content before and after the selection in each layer.
- Fade In Shape: Choose the fade in shape between linear, log, exp, or S-curve.
- Fade Out Shape: Choose the fade out shape between linear, log, exp, or S-curve.
