HALion Sonic Selection (in-app purchase)

HALion Sonic Selection is your music creation workstation which lets you choose your perfect sound from a huge library of 1100+ world-class, pro-grade instruments, suitable for any genre.

The interface allows you to switch between the Quick Edit and Global Edit pages via tapping the similarly named buttons.

Quick Edit Page

The Quick Edit page includes eight pre-configured quick controls that allow you to change the sound of individual instrument presets. The parameter selection depends on the preset. To save your modified preset, go to the “My Presets” folder and tap the Save button at the bottom of the list.

Global Edit Page

The Global Edit page contains the following controls:

• Octave: Adjusts the pitch in octave steps.
• Coarse: Adjusts the pitch in semitones.
• Fine: Fine-tunes the pitch, in cents.
• Pitchbend Down / Up: Sets the range of the pitch modulation that is applied when you move the wheel.
• Polyphony: When using polyphonic mode, the number of voices is limited to the value you specify.
• Mono: Switches between monophonic (enabled) and polyphonic (disabled) mode.

Key Switches

Some of the factory presets include key switches, which allow to switch between samples while playing. An orange-brown color indicates that a key on the internal keyboard is a key switch. There are two types of key switch presets: Some presets have key switch keys that need to be held down while playing regular notes, while others just need to be pressed once to enable their sample.
